The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) has classified Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut.
While a new version of Sucker Punch Productions’ PlayStation 4 exclusive game has yet to be announced, the ESRB has rated the Director’s Cut for PS4 and PS5.
Released in July 2020, Ghost of Tsushima centres around samurai Jin Sakai, the last surviving member of his clan, who must wage war against invading Mongols and free the island of Tsushima.
The open-world action title sold through some 2.4 million copies globally in its first three days of sales, which marked a new record for an original IP launch for publisher Sony.

In March, Sony announced it had greenlit a live-action movie adaptation of Ghost of Tsushima, helmed by John Wick director Chad Stahelski. At the time,?Sucker Punch claimed Ghost of Tsushima sales had topped 6.5 million units.
Ghost of Tsushima added an online cooperative multiplayer mode last October. And ahead of the PS5’s launch in November, Sucker Punch confirmed the game would utilise the next-gen console’s Game Boost feature to support frame rates of up to 60fps when played via backwards compatibility.
Death Stranding Director’s Cut, a new PS5 version of Kojima Productions’ PS4 game Death Stranding, was announced earlier this month.
